Lego BrickHeadz Kylo Ren & Sith Trooper (75232) Review

LEGO BrickHeadz has been around since 2017 and is now an essential part of the LEGO franchise. Some of them have been released in duo’s and for the Kylo Ren & Sith Trooper Brickheadz, this isn’t any different.

The BrickHeadz surprised me a lot! These guys are great fun to build and are excellent value for money. Especially for people that like display pieces. But if you want to play with them go right ahead.

The Build & Features

The first thing I noticed was…you guessed it. No stickers! All detailed pieces are printed so the look and feel of the models can’t be messed up by those nasty little adhesives.

Lego BrickHeadz Kylo Ren

Both the Kylo Ren as the Sith Trooper BrickHeadz had far more interesting little building techniques than I imagined. Coming from building the Star Wars Helmets, the general build is similar but on a much smaller scale.

I really liked how Kylo Ren’s helmet wrapped nicely around his head and when the cape was up I was even more impressed how a few little bricks used in a creative way could make such a good silhouette.

As my enthusiasm grew I started working on the Sith Trooper and that one is an even better build.

Building the Sith Trooper is significantly different than Kylo Ren. Starting off you won’t get the feeling that you are building the same model again. Good job LEGO!

The lower mouthpiece is very well put together but the side of the helmet is where the Sith Trooper really shines in my opinion. It looks sleek and is nicely tiled off.

The gun the Sith Trooper is holding is a cool extra and almost complete build with bricks. The Sith Trooper even has some nice armor pieces around his feet which is a great little detail.

I wish the little display stands would have been a little more fleshed out. I might have to do a little modding there.

My Thoughts

I fell in love with the LEGO BrickHeadz. Kylo Ren and the Sith Trooper are two excellent little builds and the combination of black and red always displays extremely nice. There are a few really interesting little building techniques that were enjoyable and the value for money is very high. There will be definitely more BrickHeadz reviews coming up soon.
