LEGO finally finished reviewing a whopping 26 set ideas that all reached 10.000 supporters between early January and early May 2020. In addition to the board also concluded its review of the 9 submissions that made it into the finals of the Music to our Ears contest held in Spring 2020.

Check out the announcement presented by LEGO Ideas Engagement Manager, Hasan Jensen, and LEGO Ideas Design Manager, Samuel Johnson.

The Results

Earth Globe

Guillaume Roussel (aka Disneybrick55) created the Earth Globe which is going to be made into a set by LEGO. The Earth Globe is iconic right off the bat and comes with many fascinating opportunities from educational possibilities. It also has tons of retro display value. In addition, it’s a complex and unique build that’s never before seen in an official LEGO set.

Sonic Mania (under consideration)

In addition, the Sonic Mania – Green Hill Zone created by Viv Grannell’s (aka toastergrl) is still under consideration. Because of LEGO now having the license to create Nintendo based sets, it requires further review before they can determine if they can make it happen or not.

Legendary Stratocaster

Tomáš Letenay (aka TOMOELL) created his LEGO version of the Legendary (Fender) Stratocaster. This has won the LEGO Music to our Ears contest. It rocked the socks off the review board. Between its iconic status in music history and its unique details, building techniques, and display possibilities, we’re sure this will be a billboard hit!
