Did I say I thought Kylo Ren’s Shuttle was one of the best Microfighters out there? I might be wrong about that. I feel like the LEGO Star Wars Naboo Starfighter Microfighter is even better! That’s what I think at least. And I will gladly tell you why. I really come to love these tiny little builds.

Minifigure
I like little Anakin Skywalker as a minifigure. He wears the kind of typical Tatooine gear we are used to seeing on multiple Luke Skywalker figures and it has a fairly detailed print. It comes with the short leg base we’ve seen on Jawa’s as well and that fits well. It’s a kid remember.

What makes the minifigure stand apart is the helmet and the goggles in particular. These look very authentic to the movies and with the goggles down it gives the figure a quirky looking appearance.

Furthermore, Anakin also has two faces. Smiling and…well, let’s call it determined.

The Build & Features
Building one of the most iconic starfighters of the prequels is awesome. I love the design and colors on this ship and I love the tiny version we get here as well. For such a small build it really feels like you have a tiny LEGO Naboo Starfighter in your hands.

The fact that you get R2-D2 as well, is a good bonus. Yes, it’s only the top part of the droid but it feels right to have it put into the model. Plus R2-D2 is printed. Once again a bonus.
What is also printed is the cockpit. Just as we’ve seen in Kylo Ren’s Shuttle although this has a different print. Nice to see Lego has some variations on these tiny displays.

Besides the obvious good looks of this Naboo Starfighter the flick-fire missiles are nice additions as well and adds to the playability of a microfighter.
One tiny remark on my side is that Anakin has to stand in his cockpit. Of course, he can’t bend his legs because of the short molds used on this figure. It’s no deal-breaker, but it feels slightly off in terms of positioning.

My Thoughts
I might like the LEGO Naboo Starfighter maybe even more than Kylo Ren’s shuttle. I just feel it’s more iconic and the yellow and grey color scheme is a breath of fresh air. The design for such a small build is awesome and the flick-fire missiles are a welcome addition. “Little” Anakin Skywalker as a minifigure looks very good and you get the printed top part of R2-D2.
Pros:
- Cool design
- Great colors
- Anakin Minifigure is well done
- It’s a Naboo Starfighter!
Cons:
- The minifigure has to stand in the cockpit and feels a bit weird
